Maple Syrup Walnut Grilled Salmon

Here we are and another Wednesday and a new fish Main course, 😉 Ok, this week I am made my sons ultimate and most loved fish dish. You know how being Canadian means everything needs to have some sort of maple in it, eh Every bite of this salmon dish reminds of Canada and makes you feel your at home. Home sweet home 🇨🇦

I make this dish all year round, but in autumn it warms the soul and although it looks fancy but tastes like comfort food. It’s a bit sweet, little kick of cayenne and a hint of thyme, at the end of each bite you feel the subtle maple aroma. I add a dollop of maple butter over the salmon fillet when its out of the oven to reinforce the maple flavor.
